Dimensions in practice
The Raider 125 weighs 123 kg with fluids, has an 780 mm seat, 180 mm of ground clearance, and rides on a 1326 mm wheelbase. That clearance is generous: speed breakers and broken roads will not trouble the underbody.
The fuel tank holds 10 litres, good for about 500 km between fills in real-world riding.
Tyres are 80/100-17 front and 100/90-17 rear, tubeless.
Features, and why each matters
Grouped by what they do for you. Underlined items link to a plain-English explainer.
Safety and braking
Front disc brake
Sheds heat and works when wet. Worth the small premium over a drum on any commuter.
Links the rear brake lever to the front so a rear-only stamp still slows you properly.
Tubeless tyres
A puncture deflates slowly instead of instantly, and roadside repair takes ten minutes.
Side-stand engine cut-off
Engine will not run with the stand down, which prevents a common low-speed crash.
Chassis
Rear monoshock
One central shock instead of twin units; usually better damping on broken roads.
Alloy wheels
Lighter than spoked wheels and they allow tubeless tyres.
Lighting
LED headlamp
Brighter, whiter and lasts the life of the bike. Halogens on rivals look yellow by comparison.
Console and connectivity
Digital console
Trip meters, real-time mileage and a gear indicator. The analogue dial is disappearing.
Colour TFT console
Readable in direct sun and can show turn-by-turn navigation.
Bluetooth connectivity
Call and message alerts on the console so the phone stays in your pocket.
Turn-by-turn navigation
Directions on the console via the phone app. Saves mounting a phone on the bars.
Ride modes
An Eco map for mileage and a Power map for overtakes, switched from the bars.
Convenience
Engine kill switch
Switch the engine off from the right bar without reaching for the key.
Equipment against Shine 125 and Pulsar N160
Against Shine 125 or Pulsar N160, it gets colour tft console, turn-by-turn navigation and ride modes that most rivals skip.
What it lacks: dual-channel abs, single-channel abs and usd front forks, which rivals at this price offer. The safety items in that list matter more than the console.
