The X-Cape is Moto Morini's adventure-styled sibling to the Seiemmezzo, sharing its 649cc twin but tuned for a bit more midrange, at a starting price of ₹6.4 lakh. It goes up against established names like the Benelli TRK 502 and Honda NX500 with a features list that reads well above its price, though it comes from a brand with far less of a track record in India.
Riding it every day
The 59.17bhp engine has enough pull for confident overtakes, and at 215kg it is light for the adventure class, which helps in slow traffic and while paddling through tight parking. The 175mm ground clearance shrugs off speed breakers and potholes with ease, and the fully adjustable suspension lets a rider tune the ride for either smooth highways or rougher back roads. The 18-litre tank is on the smaller side for long tours, so range needs planning on multi-day rides.
What to know before buying
Moto Morini's India dealer network is still small and concentrated in larger cities, so anyone outside those areas should confirm service access before buying. Since the brand is new here, resale value and long-term parts supply are both unproven, a real consideration for a bike meant to be used hard.
