In short

The Okinawa Ridge Plus is a currently sold electric scooter with a 1.7kW motor, 3.3kWh battery and a claimed 84km range, priced from ₹90,549. Its stand-out trait is a 3-hour fast charge, though drum brakes and a 45kmph top speed put it behind quicker rivals at the same price.

What works

  • 3-hour full charge, among the quickest in its class
  • Loaded with cruise control, USB port and OTA updates
  • 3-year warranty on vehicle and battery, 30,000km cover

What doesn't

  • Only 45kmph top speed, no highway ability
  • Drum brakes at both ends, no disc option
  • 84km range is modest for a 3.3kWh battery

Best for: Short daily commutes, Riders who charge overnight, First electric scooter

Price and variants

Ex-showroom Delhi list prices from the manufacturer. On-road for your city is in the panel above.

There is only one Ridge Plus to buy, priced at ₹90,549 ex-showroom in Delhi. The only decisions left are colour and whether to finance it.

That makes it priced 30th lowest among the 88 electric scooters we have reviewed. Its closest price rivals are the QC1 (₹159 more) and the Magnus Neo (₹450 more).

On the road in Delhi the base Ridge Plus comes to ₹1.05 Lakh: ₹90,606 ex-showroom, ₹9,655 in Delhi road tax and registration (10.7%), ₹5,042 for first-year insurance. Dealers add handling and accessory packs on top; both are negotiable.

Range and charging

The Ridge Plus is rated at 84 km (certified IDC range). Treat that as a ceiling: real-world figures are usually 15–25% lower.

Motor and ride

The Ridge Plus's 1.7 kW motor is the 57rd most powerful among the 76 electric scooters here and takes it to a top speed of 45 km/h, which limits it to city use.

A full charge from a home socket takes about 3 hours. The battery is removable, so it can be charged indoors if you cannot park near a plug.

Chassis hardware includes single-channel ABS, with a drum, 130 mm up front and drum, 130 mm at the rear.

Seat height is a low 735 mm, so riders around 5'2" and above can plant both feet at a stop.

Verdict

The Ridge Plus stays on Okinawa's current line-up as a feature-heavy, fast-charging city scooter rather than a performance option. Its 3-hour full charge is a genuine advantage for riders without home charging points, but at ₹90,549 it sits beside rivals like the Ola S1 X that offer more power and speed for similar money.

Riding it every day

The 84km claimed range on a 3.3kWh battery looks modest next to peers, but the payoff is quick top-ups: a lunch break at a fast charger can add meaningful range back. At 45kmph top speed, this stays a strictly city and suburban machine; merging into highway traffic isn't its job. Drum brakes at both ends are adequate at these speeds but ask for more lever travel in the wet than a disc would. The features list is generous for the segment, with cruise control, a USB port and over-the-air updates.

What to know before buying

Okinawa covers the Ridge Plus with a 3-year warranty on both vehicle and battery, up to 30,000km, matching what most rivals now offer. Because it has stayed in the range since 2018 with running updates, ask the dealer which model year you're being shown, since specs and software may differ. Okinawa's service network is smaller than Ola's or TVS's in some cities, so check availability locally.

Who should buy it

Pick the Ridge Plus if fast charging matters more to you than outright range or speed, and your riding stays within city limits. Riders wanting highway comfort or quicker acceleration should look at faster peers at the same price.

Features

  • Single-channel ABS
  • Tubeless tyres
  • Alloy wheels
  • Hazard lamps
  • LED daytime running lamp
  • Digital console
  • Bluetooth connectivity
  • Ride modes
  • USB charging port
  • Keyless start
  • +7 more

On safety kit the Ridge Plus has single-channel abs, tubeless tyres and hazard lamps. ABS acts on the front wheel only; the rear can still lock under a hard stamp.

Against LXS 3.0, Nduro or Oowah, it gets single-channel abs, alloy wheels, hazard lamps and bluetooth connectivity that most rivals skip.

What it lacks: combi-brake (cbs), side-stand engine cut-off, fast charging and led headlamp, which rivals at this price offer. The safety items in that list matter more than the console.

It is offered in 3 colours: Blue, Grey and Silver. Colour availability varies by variant and dealer stock.

Warranty, service and ownership

Standard warranty is 3 years, unlimited km. The battery is covered separately for 3 years or 30,000 km; read the degradation clause, since most policies only replace a pack that drops below 70% capacity.

Service reach is the weak point: Okinawa has about 450 dealer and workshop touchpoints across the country. Confirm there is one within reach before you sign.

On sale since 2018, the Ridge Plus is established enough that early production issues have been worked through and used examples give a fair read on resale.

Ridge Plus: questions people ask

What is the price of the Okinawa Ridge Plus?
The Ridge Plus is priced at ₹90,549 ex-showroom Delhi in its single variant, as of September 2026. On-road price adds road tax, registration and insurance.
What is the on-road price of the Ridge Plus in Delhi?
About ₹1.05 Lakh for the base variant in Delhi: ₹90,606 ex-showroom plus ₹9,655 in Delhi road tax and registration and ₹5,042 for first-year insurance. Figure from dealer quotes, updated monthly; handling and accessory packs can add more.
What is the real range of the Ridge Plus?
The certified range is 84 km. Expect 65–75% of that in everyday riding.
How much does the Ridge Plus cost to run per month?
Charging works out to about ₹0.32 per km in Delhi, so a 30 km daily commute costs roughly ₹253 a month before servicing.
What is the EMI for the Ridge Plus?
With 10% down, a 36-month loan at 9.5% on the base variant comes to about ₹2,870 a month. A shorter tenure raises the EMI but cuts total interest; see the EMI calculator on the price page.
How long does the Ridge Plus take to charge?
About 3 hours for a full charge from a home socket.
Is the Ridge Plus suitable for short riders?
Yes. Seat height is 735 mm, low for the class, so riders around 5'2" and above can reach the ground comfortably.
Ridge Plus or LXS 3.0: which is better?
The LXS 3.0 is ₹1,447 more expensive to start and more efficient at 120 km against 84 km. Pick the Ridge Plus for short daily commutes, the LXS 3.0 for longer daily commutes. Our side-by-side comparison covers every spec.
Which bikes are cheaper than the Ridge Plus?
Among the 88 electric scooters we have reviewed, the Praise (₹85,223), the EPluto 7G (₹86,086), the LEO (₹84,360) start lower.
Is the Ridge Plus's range enough for a round trip commute?
At a claimed 84km, expect somewhat less in real city riding with traffic and AC-less summer conditions, which should still cover a round trip of up to 30km comfortably with margin for errands.
Does the Ridge Plus support pillion riding on the highway?
It carries a pillion fine in the city, but the 45kmph top speed and drum brakes mean it isn't built for sustained highway two-up use; keep it to city and suburban roads.
