Price and variants

Ex-showroom Delhi. On-road estimate for Delhi; other cities on the price page.

Ex-showroom Delhi, the S1 Pro (Gen 3) range runs from ₹1,15,000 (3 kWh) to ₹1,35,000 (4 kWh) across 2 variants. The extra ₹20,000 buys 242 km claimed range and 125 km/h top speed.

That makes it priced 9th lowest among the 23 electric scooters we have reviewed. Its closest price rivals are the IQube (₹4,250 more) and the Chetak 35 Series (₹5,000 more).

On the road in Delhi, budget about ₹1.24 Lakh for the base variant once registration and five-year insurance are added (Delhi waives road tax on electric two-wheelers). Dealers often quote higher by bundling accessories, extended warranty and handling charges; all three are negotiable.

Range and charging

Expect 150–175 km from the S1 Pro (Gen 3) in everyday use against a certified IDC range of 242 km. The 33% gap is on the larger side, so plan around the lower figure.

Among the 23 electric scooters we have reviewed it ranks 3rd for range, 95 km above the group average of 147 km.

Motor and ride

The S1 Pro (Gen 3)'s 11 kW motor is the 4rd most powerful among the 21 electric scooters here and takes it to a top speed of 125 km/h, fast enough for a ring road or short highway stretch.

A full charge from a home socket takes about 7.4 hours, and it supports fast charging for a quicker top-up on the road. The battery is fixed, so you need a plug where the scooter parks.

At 792 mm the seat is average for the class; most riders from 5'5" up will be comfortable at stops.

Verdict

The S1 Pro gives you more battery, more speed and more screen for the money than anything else on sale. Whether that is a good deal depends almost entirely on how good Ola's service is in your city.

Riding it every day

The 11 kW mid-mounted motor makes the 4 kWh S1 Pro the quickest scooter here, electric or petrol; it will embarrass 150cc bikes to 60 km/h. Hyper mode unlocks a 125 km/h top speed you will rarely use. Normal mode is the sensible daily setting and gets owners 150–170 km on the 4 kWh pack, comfortably enough for a week of 30 km commutes.

The 7-inch touchscreen runs Ola's MoveOS with maps, music and a lot of features you will set once and forget. Ride quality is decent, though the seat is firm and the scooter feels large in tight parking.

What to know before buying

Charging from a 15 A home socket takes around 7.4 hours for the 4 kWh pack, so this is an overnight-charge vehicle. Ola's 3-year battery warranty is standard; check the terms on degradation. The biggest variable is after-sales: experiences range from excellent to frustrating, so ask owners in your city before buying.

Who should buy it

Riders with a long daily commute and a plug at home who want maximum range and performance for the money, and are comfortable with a brand that is still maturing its service network.

Features and colours

  • Front disc brake
  • Regenerative braking
  • Companion app
  • Over-the-air updates
  • Reverse mode
  • Hill hold
  • Cruise control
  • Fast charging
  • Colour TFT console
  • Turn-by-turn navigation
  • +2 more

On safety kit the S1 Pro (Gen 3) has front disc brake.

What it lacks: rear disc brake, combi-brake (cbs), led headlamp and tubeless tyres, which rivals at this price offer. The safety items in that list matter more than the console.

It is offered in 6 colours: Neo Mint, Porcelain White, Jet Black, Liquid Silver, Coral Glam and Neptune Blue. Colour availability varies by variant and dealer stock.

Warranty, service and ownership

Standard warranty is 3 years or 40,000 km. The battery is covered separately for 3 years or 40,000 km; read the degradation clause, since most policies only replace a pack that drops below 70% capacity. After the free services, the recommended interval is every 10,000 km.

Service reach is good: Ola Electric has about 4,000 dealer and workshop touchpoints across the country.

On sale since 2021, the S1 Pro (Gen 3) is established enough that early production issues have been worked through and used examples give a fair read on resale.

S1 Pro (Gen 3): questions people ask

What is the price of the Ola Electric S1 Pro (Gen 3)?
The S1 Pro (Gen 3) costs between ₹1,15,000 and ₹1,35,000 ex-showroom Delhi across 2 variants, as of September 2026. On-road price adds road tax, registration and insurance and varies by state.
What is the on-road price of the S1 Pro (Gen 3) in Delhi?
Roughly ₹1.24 Lakh for the base variant in Delhi: ₹1,15,000 ex-showroom plus no road tax (electric two-wheelers are exempt in Delhi), ₹1,100 registration and about ₹8,330 insurance. This is an estimate; dealer quotes include handling and accessories.
What is the real range of the S1 Pro (Gen 3)?
The certified range is 242 km. In everyday riding expect 150–175 km depending on mode, speed and load.
How much does the S1 Pro (Gen 3) cost to run per month?
Charging works out to about ₹0.20 per km in Delhi, so a 30 km daily commute costs roughly ₹158 a month before servicing.
What is the EMI for the S1 Pro (Gen 3)?
With 10% down, a 36-month loan at 9.5% on the base variant comes to about ₹3,650 a month. A shorter tenure raises the EMI but cuts total interest; see the EMI calculator on the price page.
How long does the S1 Pro (Gen 3) take to charge?
About 7.4 hours for a full charge from a home socket, with fast charging available for quicker top-ups.
Is the S1 Pro (Gen 3) suitable for short riders?
Mostly. Seat height is 792 mm, which suits riders from about 5'5". Shorter riders should sit on one at the showroom.
S1 Pro (Gen 3) or 450X: which is better?
The 450X is ₹25,000 more expensive to start and less efficient at 161 km against 242 km. Pick the S1 Pro (Gen 3) for long daily commutes, the 450X for ride quality over range. Our side-by-side comparison covers every spec.
Which bikes are cheaper than the S1 Pro (Gen 3)?
Among the 23 electric scooters we have reviewed, the S1 X (₹89,999), the Roadster (₹1.05 Lakh), the Orbiter (₹1.02 Lakh) start lower.
Can the Ola S1 Pro be charged from a normal 5A socket?
Yes, the portable charger works on a standard home 5A socket, but a full charge on the 4 kWh battery takes around 7-8 hours that way. Ola's home fast chargers or public charging network cut this down significantly if you need quicker top-ups.
Why is real-world range so much lower than the claimed 242 km on the 4 kWh?
The claimed figure is from a standardised test in Eco-like conditions; normal riding with faster acceleration, Sport/Hyper mode use and typical Indian traffic brings it down to roughly 150-170 km. Treat the claimed number as a best-case ceiling, not a daily expectation.
