Price and variants
Ex-showroom Delhi. On-road estimate for Delhi; other cities on the price page.
Ex-showroom Delhi, the Activa electric range runs from ₹1,20,133 (Standard) to ₹1,52,464 (Honda RoadSync Duo) across 2 variants.
That makes it priced 12th lowest among the 23 electric scooters we have reviewed. Its closest price rivals are the Chetak 35 Series (₹133 less) and the Rizta (₹572 more).
On the road in Delhi, budget about ₹1.27 Lakh for the base variant once registration and five-year insurance are added (Delhi waives road tax on electric two-wheelers). Dealers often quote higher by bundling accessories, extended warranty and handling charges; all three are negotiable.
| Variant | Ex-showroom | Rough EMI |

Honda RoadSync Duo | ₹1,52,464 |
Range and charging
Activa electric's certified IDC range is 102 km, and unusually, owners and our own riding land right on it: expect 99–102 km in everyday use. Few electric scooters get this close to their brochure figure.
Among the 23 electric scooters we have reviewed it ranks 19th for range, 45 km below the group average of 147 km.
Motor and ride
The Activa electric's 6 kW motor is the 12rd most powerful among the 21 electric scooters here and takes it to a top speed of 80 km/h, which limits it to city use.
Chassis hardware includes a combi-brake system, with a disc, 160 mm up front and drum, 130 mm at the rear.

Verdict
The Activa e: matters because of the badge on its front apron, not because it leads the electric scooter class on paper. Priced from ₹1,20,133, it brings Honda's reliability reputation to electric mobility along with a removable battery, cruise control and over-the-air updates. Real-world range of 99-102 km, however, sits behind rivals like the Ather Rizta and Bajaj Chetak at similar or lower prices, so this is a scooter bought on trust rather than spec-sheet superiority.
Riding it every day
The 6 kW motor and 22 Nm of torque make it feel eager off the line in city traffic, helped by a kerb weight of 118 kg that keeps it manageable at low speed. The removable battery is genuinely useful for anyone without dedicated home charging, letting it be carried indoors and charged on a regular socket. A front disc with CBS handles most stops confidently, though the rear drum feels like a cost-cut given the price.
What to know before buying
Battery warranty runs 3 years or 50,000 km, which should ease anxiety about early degradation, and Honda's existing service network is expected to support the electric line over time. Buyers should compare real-world range carefully against the Chetak and Rizta before deciding, since both claim more distance per charge. Monsoon riders should also note the CBS setup rather than full dual-channel ABS.
Who should buy it
Loyal Honda owners moving to electric, and riders whose daily distance stays well under 100 km, are the best fit. Anyone chasing maximum range per rupee should cross-shop the competition first.

On safety kit the Activa electric has combi-brake (cbs), front disc brake, tubeless tyres and side-stand engine cut-off. There is no ABS, which is legal at this engine size but worth knowing before a wet-weather ride.
Against IQube, Chetak 35 Series or Rizta, it gets front disc brake and removable battery that most rivals skip.
What it lacks: hazard lamps, bluetooth connectivity, turn-by-turn navigation and under-seat storage, which rivals at this price offer. The safety items in that list matter more than the console.
It is offered in 5 colours: Pearl Igneous Black, Matt Foggy Silver Metallic, Pearl Serenity Blue, Pearl Misty White and Pearl Shallow Blue. Colour availability varies by variant and dealer stock.
Warranty, service and ownership
Standard warranty is 3 years, unlimited km. The battery is covered separately for 3 years or 50,000 km; read the degradation clause, since most policies only replace a pack that drops below 70% capacity.
Service reach is excellent: Honda has about 6,000 dealer and workshop touchpoints across the country.
The Activa electric launched in 2025, so long-term reliability and resale data are still thin. That is not a mark against it, just a reason to prefer the standard warranty and keep service records.
Activa electric: questions people ask
- What is the price of the Honda Activa electric?
- The Activa electric costs between ₹1,20,133 and ₹1,52,464 ex-showroom Delhi across 2 variants, as of September 2026. On-road price adds road tax, registration and insurance and varies by state.
- What is the on-road price of the Activa electric in Delhi?
- Roughly ₹1.27 Lakh for the base variant in Delhi: ₹1,20,133 ex-showroom plus no road tax (electric two-wheelers are exempt in Delhi), ₹1,100 registration and about ₹5,433 insurance. This is an estimate; dealer quotes include handling and accessories.
- What is the real range of the Activa electric?
- The certified range is 102 km. In everyday riding expect 99–102 km depending on mode, speed and load.
- How much does the Activa electric cost to run per month?
- Charging works out to about ₹0.25 per km in Delhi, so a 30 km daily commute costs roughly ₹192 a month before servicing.
- What is the EMI for the Activa electric?
- With 10% down, a 36-month loan at 9.5% on the base variant comes to about ₹3,810 a month. A shorter tenure raises the EMI but cuts total interest; see the EMI calculator on the price page.
- Activa electric or IQube: which is better?
- The IQube is ₹883 less expensive to start and more efficient at 114 km against 102 km. Pick the Activa electric for short daily commutes, the IQube for short daily commutes. Our side-by-side comparison covers every spec.
- Which bikes are cheaper than the Activa electric?
- Among the 23 electric scooters we have reviewed, the S1 Pro (Gen 3) (₹1.15 Lakh), the Chetak 35 Series (₹1.2 Lakh), the IQube (₹1.19 Lakh) start lower.
- How long does the Activa e:'s battery take to charge at home?
- Since the battery is removable, it can be charged indoors on a standard socket; exact charge times are not in this data, so expect a full charge to take several hours overnight rather than a quick top-up.
- Is 100 km of real-world range enough for daily use?
- For a typical city commute of 20-30 km a day it should comfortably cover several days between charges, but it is noticeably less than rivals like the Ather Rizta, so long errands or highway detours will need more frequent charging.
