On the road in Delhi, budget about ₹92,800 for the base variant once 8% Delhi road tax, registration and five-year third-party insurance are added. Dealers often quote higher by bundling accessories, extended warranty and handling charges; all three are negotiable.

Mileage
Activa 6G's claimed mileage is 47 kmpl, and unusually, owners and our own riding land right on it: expect 42–50 kmpl in everyday use. Few bikes get this close to their brochure figure.
Among the 25 scooters we have reviewed it ranks 17th for mileage, 2 kmpl below the group average of 49 kmpl.
Engine and ride
Power comes from a 110cc single producing 7.79 bhp and 8.84 Nm, paired with a CVT automatic. At 106 kg the power-to-weight figure is 73 bhp per tonne, which ranks 21 of 25 in its class here.
The torque and power figures are well balanced, so it neither needs to be revved hard nor feels lazy when you do.
Chassis hardware includes a combi-brake system, with a 130 mm drum up front and 130 mm drum at the rear.
Seat height is a low 765 mm, so riders around 5'2" and above can plant both feet at a stop.

Verdict
The Activa is the safe choice, and unlike most safe choices it is also a good one. It is not the most spacious, the quickest or the best equipped scooter you can buy, but nothing else is as easy to live with.
Riding it every day
The 110cc engine makes 7.8 bhp and pulls cleanly from a standstill; two adults and a bag of groceries will not trouble it in the city. The silent starter and Honda's eSP tech make it feel a class more refined than the price suggests. Expect 45–50 kmpl, and the 5.3-litre tank is filled from the outside without lifting the seat.
The 12-inch front wheel handles bumps well; the 10-inch rear does not, and you feel it on broken tarmac with a pillion. Suspension is on the softer side, which suits speed breakers.
What to know before buying
There is no disc brake variant at all, which is the Activa's biggest weakness against the TVS Jupiter. The DLX is the variant to buy: alloy wheels, a part-digital console and a USB charger for a small premium. The H-Smart's keyless entry is convenient but adds ₹6,000 for a feature you may not miss.
Who should buy it
Families who want one scooter everyone can ride, anyone in a town where service network matters more than features, and buyers who plan to hold it for a decade.

On safety kit the Activa 6G has combi-brake (cbs), tubeless tyres and side-stand engine cut-off. There is no ABS, which is legal at this engine size but worth knowing before a wet-weather ride.
Against Jupiter 125, it gets idle start-stop, keyless start and tubeless tyres that the rival does not.
What it lacks: front disc brake, digital console and bluetooth connectivity, which the rival offers. The safety items in that list matter more than the console.
It is offered in 5 colours: Pearl Precious White, Rebel Red Metallic, Mat Axis Grey Metallic, Imperial Red Metallic and Black. Colour availability varies by variant and dealer stock.
Warranty, service and ownership
Standard warranty is 3 years, unlimited km. After the free services, the recommended interval is every 4,000 km.
Service reach is excellent: Honda has about 6,000 dealer and workshop touchpoints across the country.
