The Burgman Street EX has been Suzuki's flagship 125cc scooter statement since 2018, and it still holds up on the one metric that matters most to daily riders: fuel efficiency. At ₹1,14,839 for the only Ride Connect variant on offer, it is not cheap, but it backs that price with genuine running-cost savings.
Riding it every day
The 124cc engine's 8.48bhp is nothing to write home about, and acceleration is leisurely rather than sporty, but that restraint is exactly why real-world mileage typically lands between 47 and 52kmpl, the best Suzuki quotes across its scooter range. The front disc brake with CBS inspires confidence braking hard in city traffic, and the Bluetooth-linked dashboard with turn-by-turn navigation is genuinely useful for riders navigating unfamiliar parts of a city. Under-seat storage is generous enough for a full-face helmet, and the 5.5-litre tank means fewer fuel stops than most rivals.
What to know before buying
The rear brake is still a drum, which feels dated at this price, and Suzuki offers only a single variant, so there is no way to step down in price if the full feature set is not needed. Riders wanting more outright performance should note the Ntorq 150 and Aerox 155 both offer noticeably more power for similar or slightly higher money.
