The IQube is TVS's electric scooter line, spanning six variants from a ₹1.19 lakh base 2.3kWh pack to a ₹1.76 lakh ST 5.3kWh version, and it leans on genuinely useful tech like cruise control, over-the-air updates and a companion app to stand out. What it does not offer, on any variant, is a disc brake at either wheel.

Riding it every day

In city traffic the instant torque from the 3.68kW motor makes it feel eager off the line, quicker than most 110cc petrol scooters away from a signal, though the 68kmph top speed means it is not built for fast arterial roads or highway stretches. The 770mm seat height and 115kg kerb weight keep it easy to manage at low speed and while parking. Braking is the one area that feels behind the times: both wheels use drums, and TVS's SBT system is no substitute for a proper disc when carrying a pillion or riding in the monsoon.

What to know before buying
