The Shockwave comes in a single variant at ₹1,75,000 ex-showroom Delhi, so there is no trim ladder to climb: every Shockwave leaves the showroom with the same equipment.

That makes it priced 12th lowest among the 17 electric bikes we have reviewed. Its closest price rivals are the EX2S (₹5,001 less) and the AERA (₹7,591 more).

On the road in Delhi the base Shockwave comes to ₹1.82 Lakh: ₹1,70,000 ex-showroom, ₹1,500 in Delhi road tax and registration (0.9%), ₹10,713 for first-year insurance. Dealers add handling and accessory packs on top; both are negotiable.

Shockwave's certified IDC range is 165 km. Owners and our own riding put the real figure between 129 and 147 km, roughly 16% under the brochure number, which is normal for an electric two-wheeler ridden in its faster modes.

Among the 17 electric bikes we have reviewed it ranks 10th for range, 14 km below the group average of 179 km.

The Shockwave's 10.8 kW motor is the 6rd most powerful among the 17 electric scooters here and takes it to a top speed of 120 km/h, fast enough for a ring road or short highway stretch.

Chassis hardware includes a rear monoshock and single-channel ABS, with a disc, 270 mm, 2 piston caliper up front and disc, 220 mm, 1 piston caliper at the rear.

On safety kit the Shockwave has single-channel abs, front disc brake, rear disc brake, side-stand engine cut-off and hazard lamps. ABS acts on the front wheel only; the rear can still lock under a hard stamp.

Against EX2S or Vader, it gets single-channel abs and led tail lamp that most rivals skip.

What it lacks: combi-brake (cbs), tubeless tyres, alloy wheels and ride modes, which rivals at this price offer. The safety items in that list matter more than the console.

It is offered in 2 colours: Frost White and Cosmic Black. Colour availability varies by variant and dealer stock.

Standard warranty is 3 years, unlimited km.

Ultraviolette runs a limited sales and service network in India, at roughly 20 touchpoints. Check the nearest workshop before buying if you live outside a metro; a 40 km ride for every service adds up.

The Shockwave launched in 2025, so long-term reliability and resale data are still thin. That is not a mark against it, just a reason to prefer the standard warranty and keep service records.
