That makes it priced 42th lowest among the 56 electric scooters we have reviewed. Its closest price rivals are the BG RUV 350 (₹1,010 less) and the 450X (₹5,000 less).

On the road in Delhi the base Tesseract comes to ₹1.52 Lakh: ₹1,40,000 ex-showroom, ₹1,500 in Delhi road tax and registration (1.1%), ₹10,078 for first-year insurance. Dealers add handling and accessory packs on top; both are negotiable.

Tesseract's certified IDC range is 162 km, and unusually, owners and our own riding land right on it: expect 152–162 km in everyday use. Few electric scooters get this close to their brochure figure.

Among the 56 electric scooters we have reviewed it ranks 11th for range, 25 km above the group average of 137 km.

The Tesseract's 14.9 kW motor is the 4rd most powerful among the 48 electric scooters here and takes it to a top speed of 125 km/h, fast enough for a ring road or short highway stretch.

Chassis hardware includes dual-channel ABS, with a disc up front and disc at the rear.

On safety kit the Tesseract has dual-channel abs, front disc brake, rear disc brake, side-stand engine cut-off and hazard lamps. Dual-channel ABS is the one item on this list worth paying for if it is variant-dependent.

Against V2, BG RUV 350 or Indie, it gets dual-channel abs, rear disc brake, projector headlamp and hill hold that most rivals skip.

What it lacks: tubeless tyres, alloy wheels, ride modes and over-the-air updates, which rivals at this price offer. The safety items in that list matter more than the console.

It is offered in 4 colours: Solar White, Stealth Black, Sonic Pink and Desert Sand. Colour availability varies by variant and dealer stock.

Standard warranty is 3 years, unlimited km. The battery is covered separately for 8 years; read the degradation clause, since most policies only replace a pack that drops below 70% capacity.

Service reach is the weak point: Ultraviolette has about 20 dealer and workshop touchpoints across the country. Confirm there is one within reach before you sign.

The Tesseract launched in 2025, so long-term reliability and resale data are still thin. That is not a mark against it, just a reason to prefer the standard warranty and keep service records.
