Range and charging
RV1's certified IDC range is 100 km, and unusually, owners and our own riding land right on it: expect 100–125 km in everyday use. Few electric bikes get this close to their brochure figure.
Among the 17 electric bikes we have reviewed it ranks last for range, 79 km below the group average of 179 km.
Motor and ride
The RV1's 2.8 kW motor is the least powerful among the 17 electric scooters here and takes it to a top speed of 70 km/h, which limits it to city use.
A full charge from a home socket takes about 4.5 hours, and it supports fast charging for a quicker top-up on the road. The battery is removable, so it can be charged indoors if you cannot park near a plug.
Chassis hardware includes a rear monoshock and a combi-brake system, with a disc, 240 mm up front and disc, 240 mm at the rear.
At 790 mm the seat is average for the class; most riders from 5'5" up will be comfortable at stops.

On safety kit the RV1 has combi-brake (cbs), front disc brake, rear disc brake, tubeless tyres and side-stand engine cut-off. There is no ABS, which is legal at this engine size but worth knowing before a wet-weather ride.
Against Roadster X, Pulsar 125 or EcoDryft, it gets front disc brake, rear disc brake, rear monoshock and led daytime running lamp that most rivals skip.
What it lacks: hazard lamps, bluetooth connectivity, regenerative braking and companion app, which rivals at this price offer. The safety items in that list matter more than the console.
It is offered in 4 colours: Black Midnight Blue, Black Neon Green, Cosmic Black Red and Titan Red Silver. Colour availability varies by variant and dealer stock.
Warranty, service and ownership
Standard warranty is 5 years, unlimited km. The battery is covered separately for 5 years; read the degradation clause, since most policies only replace a pack that drops below 70% capacity.
Revolt runs a limited sales and service network in India, at roughly 200 touchpoints. Check the nearest workshop before buying if you live outside a metro; a 40 km ride for every service adds up.
The RV1 launched in 2024, so long-term reliability and resale data are still thin. That is not a mark against it, just a reason to prefer the standard warranty and keep service records.
