On the road in Delhi the base Panigale V4 comes to ₹36.74 Lakh: ₹32,70,000 ex-showroom, ₹2,86,600 in Delhi road tax and registration (8.8%), ₹84,745 for first-year insurance and ₹32,700 in tcs 1%. Dealers add handling and accessory packs on top; both are negotiable.

Panigale V4's claimed mileage is 14 kmpl, and unusually, owners and our own riding land right on it: expect 13–15 kmpl in everyday use. Few bikes get this close to their brochure figure.

Power comes from a 1103cc single producing 219 bhp and 120.9 Nm, paired with a 6 Speed. At 191 kg the power-to-weight figure is 1147 bhp per tonne, which ranks 2 of 135 in its class here.

Peak power is high relative to torque, so this engine rewards revs: it feels ordinary below the mid-range and comes alive above it.

Chassis hardware includes dual-channel ABS, a slipper clutch and traction control, with a disc, 330 mm, 4 piston caliper up front and disc, 245 mm, 2 piston caliper at the rear.

The 850 mm seat is on the tall side. Riders under 5'6" should sit on one before buying.

On safety kit the Panigale V4 has dual-channel abs, front disc brake, rear disc brake, tubeless tyres, traction control, side-stand engine cut-off and hazard lamps. Dual-channel ABS is the one item on this list worth paying for if it is variant-dependent.
