The Breakout is rated at 17.8 kmpl (claimed mileage). Treat that as a ceiling: real-world figures are usually 15–25% lower.

The 1923cc engine makes 101.9 bhp and 168 Nm through a 6 Speed. With a kerb weight of 310 kg that is 329 bhp per tonne, 18th best power-to-weight of the 51 bikes in this class we have reviewed.

Torque is high relative to peak power, which is what you want for pulling away with a pillion and riding a gear higher in traffic rather than chasing the redline.

Chassis hardware includes a rear monoshock, dual-channel ABS, a slipper clutch and traction control, with a disc, 300 mm, 4 piston caliper up front and disc, 292 mm, 2 piston caliper at the rear.

Seat height is a low 665 mm, so riders around 5'2" and above can plant both feet at a stop.

On safety kit the Breakout has dual-channel abs, front disc brake, rear disc brake, tubeless tyres, traction control, side-stand engine cut-off and hazard lamps. Dual-channel ABS is the one item on this list worth paying for if it is variant-dependent.

Against Fat Boy, Street Glide or Road Glide, it gets rear monoshock that most rivals skip.

What it lacks: colour tft console, bluetooth connectivity, turn-by-turn navigation and ride modes, which rivals at this price offer. None of these are deal-breakers, but they show where the money went.

Harley-Davidson runs a limited sales and service network in India, at roughly 60 touchpoints. Check the nearest workshop before buying if you live outside a metro; a 40 km ride for every service adds up.

The Breakout launched in 2025, so long-term reliability and resale data are still thin. That is not a mark against it, just a reason to prefer the standard warranty and keep service records.
