Price and variants
Ex-showroom Delhi. On-road estimate for Delhi; other cities on the price page.
The Classic 350 is sold in 4 variants, from ₹1,98,000 for the Heritage to ₹2,30,000 for the Chrome, ex-showroom Delhi. The extra ₹32,000 buys chrome tank, dual-channel abs and tripper navigation.
That makes it priced 5th lowest among the 15 cruisers we have reviewed. Its closest price rivals are the CB350C (₹556 more) and the CB350 (₹966 less).
On the road in Delhi, budget about ₹2.26 Lakh for the base variant once 8% Delhi road tax, registration and five-year third-party insurance are added. Dealers often quote higher by bundling accessories, extended warranty and handling charges; all three are negotiable.
| Variant | Ex-showroom | Rough EMI |
|---|---|---|
Heritage Spoke wheels · Rear drum, single-channel ABS | ₹1,98,000 | |
Signals Alloy wheels · Dual-channel ABS | ₹2,16,000 | |
Dark Alloy wheels · Dual-channel ABS · Tripper navigation | ₹2,26,000 | |
Chrome Chrome tank · Dual-channel ABS · Tripper navigation | ₹2,30,000 |
Mileage
Classic 350's claimed mileage is 35 kmpl, and unusually, owners and our own riding land right on it: expect 32–37 kmpl in everyday use. Few bikes get this close to their brochure figure.
Among the 13 cruiser bikes we have reviewed it ranks 5th for mileage, 4 kmpl above the group average of 31 kmpl.
Engine and ride
The 349cc air-oil cooled engine makes 20.2 bhp and 27 Nm through a 5-speed. With a kerb weight of 195 kg that is 104 bhp per tonne, 14th best power-to-weight of the 15 bikes in this class we have reviewed.
Torque is high relative to peak power, which is what you want for pulling away with a pillion and riding a gear higher in traffic rather than chasing the redline.
Chassis hardware includes dual-channel ABS, with a 300 mm disc up front and 270 mm disc / 153 mm drum at the rear.
At 805 mm the seat is average for the class; most riders from 5'5" up will be comfortable at stops.

Verdict
The Classic 350 is an emotional purchase that, since the 2021 J-series engine, is also a rational one. It is the best-built bike under ₹2.5 lakh and the easiest to ride long distances.
Riding it every day
The 349cc long-stroke single makes 20 bhp and 27 Nm, and almost all of that torque is available before 3,000 rpm. That means you rarely shift below fourth in the city and can hold 80–90 km/h on the highway with the engine barely awake. The famous thump is still there, quieter and without the old vibrations that used to loosen your fillings.
Ride quality is plush; the 19-inch front wheel rolls over potholes rather than falling into them. The trade-offs are weight and thirst. At 195 kg the Classic is a workout in stop-go traffic, and expect 32–37 kmpl.
What to know before buying
The Heritage variant saves money with spoke wheels (tube tyres) and a rear drum with single-channel ABS. For a bike this heavy, dual-channel ABS and the rear disc on the Signals and above are worth the extra ₹18,000. The Tripper navigation pod on higher variants is handy but not essential.
Who should buy it
Anyone who rides for pleasure as much as necessity, does highway trips a few times a year, and wants a bike that will look the same in ten years. Not for a 5 km daily crawl through peak traffic.
Features and colours
- Single-channel ABS
- Dual-channel ABS
- Alloy wheels
- Tubeless tyres
- Turn-by-turn navigation
- Digital console
- Engine kill switch
- Side-stand engine cut-off
On safety kit the Classic 350 has single-channel abs, dual-channel abs, tubeless tyres and side-stand engine cut-off. Dual-channel ABS is the one item on this list worth paying for if it is variant-dependent.
Against Pulsar N160 or 200 Duke, it gets turn-by-turn navigation that most rivals skip.
What it lacks: usd front forks, rear monoshock, bluetooth connectivity and led headlamp, which rivals at this price offer. None of these are deal-breakers, but they show where the money went.
It is offered in 6 colours: Redditch Red, Redditch Bronze, Halcyon Black, Halcyon Green, Gunmetal Grey and Chrome Bronze. Colour availability varies by variant and dealer stock.
Warranty, service and ownership
Standard warranty is 3 years, unlimited km. After the free services, the recommended interval is every 5,000 km.
Royal Enfield runs a sizeable sales and service network in India, at roughly 2,200 touchpoints. Spares and a mechanic who knows the model are rarely far away.
The Classic 350 nameplate has been on sale since 2008. That maturity shows up as a deep used market, plentiful spares and mechanics who have seen every fault, which keeps running costs and resale predictable.
Classic 350: questions people ask
- What is the price of the Royal Enfield Classic 350?
- The Classic 350 costs between ₹1,98,000 and ₹2,30,000 ex-showroom Delhi across 4 variants, as of September 2026. On-road price adds road tax, registration and insurance and varies by state.
- What is the on-road price of the Classic 350 in Delhi?
- Roughly ₹2.26 Lakh for the base variant in Delhi: ₹1,98,000 ex-showroom plus ₹15,840 road tax, ₹1,100 registration and about ₹10,925 insurance. This is an estimate; dealer quotes include handling and accessories.
- What is the mileage of the Classic 350?
- Claimed mileage is 35 kmpl. Owners typically see 32–37 kmpl in mixed city and highway riding.
- How much does the Classic 350 cost to run per month?
- Fuel works out to about ₹2.75 per km in Delhi, so a 30 km daily commute costs roughly ₹2,143 a month before servicing.
- What is the EMI for the Classic 350?
- With 10% down, a 36-month loan at 9.5% on the base variant comes to about ₹6,280 a month. A shorter tenure raises the EMI but cuts total interest; see the EMI calculator on the price page.
- What is the engine capacity and power of the Classic 350?
- It uses a 349cc engine producing 20.2 bhp and 27 Nm, with a 5-speed.
- Is the Classic 350 suitable for short riders?
- Mostly. Seat height is 805 mm, which suits riders from about 5'5". Shorter riders should sit on one at the showroom.
- Classic 350 or Pulsar N160: which is better?
- The Pulsar N160 is ₹76,000 less expensive to start and more efficient at 45 kmpl against 35 kmpl. Pick the Classic 350 for weekend highway rides, the Pulsar N160 for upgrading from a 125. Our side-by-side comparison covers every spec.
- Which bikes are cheaper than the Classic 350?
- Among the 15 cruiser bikes we have reviewed, the Ronin 225 (₹1.3 Lakh), the Avenger Cruise 220 (₹1.34 Lakh), the Avenger Street 220 (₹1.34 Lakh) start lower.
- Is the base Heritage variant's rear drum brake a real downgrade?
- It stops adequately for the bike's relaxed riding style and single-channel ABS still covers the front, but the Signals, Dark and Chrome variants' rear disc gives more consistent feel on long descents or with a pillion. If you can stretch the budget, the disc variants are the safer long-term choice.
- Can a 195 kg Classic 350 be managed by a shorter or lighter rider in city traffic?
- The weight is mostly low and centred, so it feels more manageable moving than it sounds on paper, but U-turns, parking on a slope and low-speed balancing do take some getting used to. Most riders adjust within a few weeks; it is not a bike to buy on a first test ride alone.
