Riding it every day
In city traffic the Astrid Lite feels reasonably eager off the line thanks to its 4kW motor, and the front disc brake with single-channel ABS gives confident stopping in the wet. A 95kg kerb weight and 170mm ground clearance handle typical Indian speed breakers without drama. The rear drum brake is the one obvious cost-cutting choice on an otherwise well-equipped scooter, and it feels less reassuring under hard braking than a rear disc.
What to know before buying
Compare the 90km range against rivals like the Kinetic Green Flex and OPG Mobility Faast, both of which claim notably more range for similar or lower money; the Astrid Lite's case rests on its feature list, not its distance per charge.
