There is only one Ryder SuperMax to buy, priced at ₹79,999 ex-showroom in Delhi. The only decisions left are colour and whether to finance it.

That makes it priced 5th lowest among the 56 electric scooters we have reviewed. Its closest price rivals are the Zulu (₹9 less) and the Faast F2F (₹1,997 more).

On the road in Delhi the base Ryder SuperMax comes to ₹86,327: ₹79,999 ex-showroom, ₹1,500 in Delhi road tax and registration (1.9%), ₹4,828 for first-year insurance. Dealers add handling and accessory packs on top; both are negotiable.

The Ryder SuperMax is rated at 100 km (certified IDC range). Treat that as a ceiling: real-world figures are usually 15–25% lower.

Among the 56 electric scooters we have reviewed it ranks 44th for range, 37 km below the group average of 137 km.

The Ryder SuperMax's 2.7 kW motor is the 35rd most powerful among the 48 electric scooters here and takes it to a top speed of 60 km/h, which limits it to city use.

A full charge from a home socket takes about 6 hours, and it supports fast charging for a quicker top-up on the road. The battery is removable, so it can be charged indoors if you cannot park near a plug.

Chassis hardware includes single-channel ABS, with a disc, 2 piston caliper up front and drum at the rear.

On safety kit the Ryder SuperMax has single-channel abs, front disc brake, tubeless tyres, side-stand engine cut-off and hazard lamps. ABS acts on the front wheel only; the rear can still lock under a hard stamp.

Against S1 Z, Faast F2F or Ray ZR 125, it gets single-channel abs, front disc brake, alloy wheels and side-stand engine cut-off that most rivals skip.

What it lacks: combi-brake (cbs) and led tail lamp, which rivals at this price offer. The safety items in that list matter more than the console.

It is offered in 6 colours: Fluorescent Yellow, Sparkling White, Blazing Red, Graphite Grey, Jazzy Neon and Electric Blue. Colour availability varies by variant and dealer stock.

Standard warranty is 3 years, unlimited km. The battery is covered separately for 3 years; read the degradation clause, since most policies only replace a pack that drops below 70% capacity.

Service reach is the weak point: Gemopai has about 100 dealer and workshop touchpoints across the country. Confirm there is one within reach before you sign.

The Ryder SuperMax launched in 2023, so long-term reliability and resale data are still thin. That is not a mark against it, just a reason to prefer the standard warranty and keep service records.
