There is only one Zulu to buy, priced at ₹79,990 ex-showroom in Delhi. The only decisions left are colour and whether to finance it.

That makes it priced 4th lowest among the 56 electric scooters we have reviewed. Its closest price rivals are the Ryder SuperMax (₹9 more) and the S1 Z (₹9 more).

On the road in Delhi the base Zulu comes to ₹88,445: ₹79,990 ex-showroom, ₹2,300 in Delhi road tax and registration (2.9%), ₹6,155 for first-year insurance. Dealers add handling and accessory packs on top; both are negotiable.

The Zulu is rated at 104 km (certified IDC range). Treat that as a ceiling: real-world figures are usually 15–25% lower.

Among the 56 electric scooters we have reviewed it ranks 41th for range, 33 km below the group average of 137 km.

The Zulu's 2 kW motor is the 43rd most powerful among the 48 electric scooters here and takes it to a top speed of 60 km/h, which limits it to city use.

A full charge from a home socket takes about 5 hours, and it supports fast charging for a quicker top-up on the road. The battery is fixed, so you need a plug where the scooter parks.

Chassis hardware includes a combi-brake system, with a disc, 180 mm, 2 piston caliper up front and disc, 180 mm, 2 piston caliper at the rear.

On safety kit the Zulu has combi-brake (cbs), front disc brake, rear disc brake, tubeless tyres and side-stand engine cut-off. There is no ABS, which is legal at this engine size but worth knowing before a wet-weather ride.

Against Faast F2F, S1 Z or Ryder SuperMax, it gets front disc brake, rear disc brake, alloy wheels and side-stand engine cut-off that most rivals skip.

What it lacks: hazard lamps, led headlamp, led tail lamp and ride modes, which rivals at this price offer. The safety items in that list matter more than the console.

Standard warranty is 30000 years, unlimited km. The battery is covered separately for 3 years or 30,000 km; read the degradation clause, since most policies only replace a pack that drops below 70% capacity.

Service reach is the weak point: Kinetic Green has about 300 dealer and workshop touchpoints across the country. Confirm there is one within reach before you sign.

The Zulu launched in 2023, so long-term reliability and resale data are still thin. That is not a mark against it, just a reason to prefer the standard warranty and keep service records.
