NX200's claimed mileage is 42 kmpl, and unusually, owners and our own riding land right on it: expect 39–44 kmpl in everyday use. Few bikes get this close to their brochure figure.

Engine and ride
Power comes from a 184cc single producing 16.76 bhp and 15.7 Nm, paired with a 5 Speed. At 148 kg the power-to-weight figure is 113 bhp per tonne, which ranks 50 of 73 in its class here.
The torque and power figures are well balanced, so it neither needs to be revved hard nor feels lazy when you do.
Chassis hardware includes USD front forks, a rear monoshock, dual-channel ABS, a slipper clutch and traction control, with a disc, 276 mm, 2 piston caliper up front and disc, 220 mm, 1 piston caliper at the rear.
The 810 mm seat is on the tall side. Riders under 5'6" should sit on one before buying.

It is a styling and stance play rather than a performance upgrade, aimed at riders who want a distinct look in a segment full of naked streetfighters.
Riding it every day
The taller 810mm seat height and increased ground clearance give a commanding view in traffic and extra confidence over broken roads and unpaved stretches. At 148kg, it remains manageable despite the taller stance, and the USD forks and monoshock, shared with the Hornet, handle city imperfections well. The upright bars keep the riding position relaxed on longer commutes.
What to know before buying
Real-world mileage typically runs 39-44kmpl, a touch behind the Hornet's more consistent 42kmpl figure, likely due to the taller, less aerodynamic bodywork. The premium over the Hornet is purely for styling and stance, since the engine is actually slightly detuned. Honda's dealer network and 3-year warranty carry over from the rest of the range.
Who should buy it
The NX200 suits a rider who specifically wants an adventure-scrambler stance and taller ground clearance for mixed road conditions, and who is willing to pay a premium over the mechanically related Hornet purely for that distinct styling and riding position.
