Okinawa Raise range and running cost

The Raise is rated at 65 km (certified IDC range). Treat that as a ceiling: real-world figures are usually 15–25% lower.

Among the 89 electric scooters we have reviewed it ranks 83th for range, 56 km below the group average of 121 km.

Charging at home in Delhi at about ₹7.5/unit, a 1.152 kWh pack costs roughly ₹10 to fill and works out to about ₹0.15 per km. Riding 30 km a day, that is around ₹114 a month, a fraction of what a petrol scooter costs to run.

Spread over five years and 46,800 km, the Raise works out to about ₹1.4 per km all-in, of which 11% is electricity and 71% is the purchase price itself. Resale value is not counted; expect roughly 50–60% of ex-showroom after five years for a well-kept example.

On the Raise, treat the mode selector as a range dial: the top mode trades roughly a third of the range for speed, and sustained runs above 60 km/h are where the pack empties fastest.

Regenerative braking helps most in stop-start traffic, so leave it on its strongest setting for the commute; it earns back a few kilometres a day and saves the brake pads.

A full charge takes about 6 hours from a home socket, so a nightly top-up covers a normal day; charge to 80% for daily use and only fill to 100% before a long ride, which slows battery ageing.

Cold mornings, a heavy pillion and under-inflated tyres each trim range. Budget for roughly 70% of the certified figure until you have measured your own.
