On the road in Delhi the base Trident 660 comes to ₹10.14 Lakh: ₹8,99,000 ex-showroom, ₹79,920 in Delhi road tax and registration (8.9%), ₹34,803 for first-year insurance. Dealers add handling and accessory packs on top; both are negotiable.

The Trident 660 is rated at 15 kmpl (claimed mileage). Treat that as a ceiling: real-world figures are usually 15–25% lower.

The 660cc liquid-cooled engine makes 80 bhp and 64 Nm through a 6 Speed. With a kerb weight of 189 kg that is 423 bhp per tonne, 40th best power-to-weight of the 135 bikes in this class we have reviewed.

Peak power is high relative to torque, so this engine rewards revs: it feels ordinary below the mid-range and comes alive above it.

Chassis hardware includes USD front forks, a rear monoshock, dual-channel ABS, a slipper clutch and traction control, with a disc, 310 mm, 4 piston caliper up front and disc, 255 mm, 1 piston caliper at the rear.

At 805 mm the seat is average for the class; most riders from 5'5" up will be comfortable at stops.

On safety kit the Trident 660 has dual-channel abs, front disc brake, rear disc brake, tubeless tyres, traction control, side-stand engine cut-off and hazard lamps. Dual-channel ABS is the one item on this list worth paying for if it is variant-dependent.

Against CB750 Hornet, Daytona 660 or Street Triple R, it gets projector headlamp that most rivals skip.

Triumph runs a limited sales and service network in India, at roughly 150 touchpoints. Check the nearest workshop before buying if you live outside a metro; a 40 km ride for every service adds up.

The Trident 660 launched in 2025, so long-term reliability and resale data are still thin. That is not a mark against it, just a reason to prefer the standard warranty and keep service records.
