On the road in Delhi the base F900 GS comes to ₹17.9 Lakh: ₹16,00,000 ex-showroom, ₹1,40,000 in Delhi road tax and registration (8.8%), ₹49,569 for first-year insurance. Dealers add handling and accessory packs on top; both are negotiable.

The F900 GS is rated at 22.7 kmpl (claimed mileage). Treat that as a ceiling: real-world figures are usually 15–25% lower.

The 895cc engine makes 103.25 bhp and 93 Nm through a 6 Speed. With a kerb weight of 219 kg that is 471 bhp per tonne, 10th best power-to-weight of the 29 bikes in this class we have reviewed.

The torque and power figures are well balanced, so it neither needs to be revved hard nor feels lazy when you do.

Chassis hardware includes USD front forks, a rear monoshock, dual-channel ABS, a slipper clutch and traction control, with a disc, 305 mm, 2 piston caliper up front and disc, 265 mm, 1 piston caliper at the rear.

The 870 mm seat is on the tall side. Riders under 5'6" should sit on one before buying.

On safety kit the F900 GS has dual-channel abs, front disc brake, rear disc brake, traction control, side-stand engine cut-off and hazard lamps. Dual-channel ABS is the one item on this list worth paying for if it is variant-dependent.

Against F 900 GS Adventure, 890 Adventure R or Tiger 900 Desert Edition, it gets rear monoshock that most rivals skip.

What it lacks: tubeless tyres, which rivals at this price offer. The safety items in that list matter more than the console.

The F900 GS launched in 2024, so long-term reliability and resale data are still thin. That is not a mark against it, just a reason to prefer the standard warranty and keep service records.
