The CE 02 comes in a single variant at ₹4,49,900 ex-showroom Delhi, so there is no trim ladder to climb: every CE 02 leaves the showroom with the same equipment.

That makes it priced 55th lowest among the 56 electric scooters we have reviewed. Its closest price rivals are the Aerox E (₹1,68,291 less) and the Flying Flea C6 (₹1,70,900 less).

On the road in Delhi the base CE 02 comes to ₹4.63 Lakh: ₹4,44,900 ex-showroom, ₹1,500 in Delhi road tax and registration (0.3%), ₹16,529 for first-year insurance. Dealers add handling and accessory packs on top; both are negotiable.

The CE 02 is rated at 108 km (certified IDC range). Treat that as a ceiling: real-world figures are usually 15–25% lower.

Among the 56 electric scooters we have reviewed it ranks 38th for range, 29 km below the group average of 137 km.

The CE 02's 11 kW motor is the 9rd most powerful among the 48 electric scooters here and takes it to a top speed of 95 km/h, comfortable for city and arterial roads.

A full charge from a home socket takes about 5.12 hours, and it supports fast charging for a quicker top-up on the road. The battery is removable, so it can be charged indoors if you cannot park near a plug.

Chassis hardware includes USD front forks and single-channel ABS, with a disc, 239 mm, 2 piston caliper up front and disc, 220 mm, 1 piston caliper at the rear.

Seat height is a low 745 mm, so riders around 5'2" and above can plant both feet at a stop.

On safety kit the CE 02 has single-channel abs, front disc brake, rear disc brake, tubeless tyres, side-stand engine cut-off and hazard lamps. ABS acts on the front wheel only; the rear can still lock under a hard stamp.

Against CE 04, C 400 GT or Aerox E, it gets single-channel abs, usd front forks, fast charging and removable battery that most rivals skip.

What it lacks: dual-channel abs, led tail lamp, keyless start and engine kill switch, which rivals at this price offer. The safety items in that list matter more than the console.

It is offered in 2 colours: Cosmic Black Two and Cosmic Black. Colour availability varies by variant and dealer stock.

BMW Motorrad runs a limited sales and service network in India, at roughly 40 touchpoints. Check the nearest workshop before buying if you live outside a metro; a 40 km ride for every service adds up.

The CE 02 launched in 2024, so long-term reliability and resale data are still thin. That is not a mark against it, just a reason to prefer the standard warranty and keep service records.
