OPG Mobility Faast F2B range and running cost

The Faast F2B is rated at 80 km (certified IDC range). Treat that as a ceiling: real-world figures are usually 15–25% lower.

Among the 88 electric scooters we have reviewed it ranks 75th for range, 42 km below the group average of 122 km.

Charging at home in Delhi at about ₹7.5/unit, a 2.2 kWh pack costs roughly ₹18 to fill and works out to about ₹0.23 per km. Riding 30 km a day, that is around ₹177 a month, a fraction of what a petrol scooter costs to run.

Spread over five years and 46,800 km, the Faast F2B works out to about ₹2.5 per km all-in, of which 9% is electricity and 79% is the purchase price itself. Resale value is not counted; expect roughly 50–60% of ex-showroom after five years for a well-kept example.

On the Faast F2B, treat the mode selector as a range dial: the top mode trades roughly a third of the range for speed, and sustained runs above 60 km/h are where the pack empties fastest.

Because the battery is removable, charge it indoors at room temperature where you can. A pack that sits in the sun or a cold stairwell loses a little range before you set off.
