Revolt RV400 range and running cost

Expect 109–125 km from the RV400 in everyday use against a certified IDC range of 150 km. The 22% gap is about average for the class.

Charging at home in Delhi at about ₹7.5/unit, a 3.24 kWh pack costs roughly ₹27 to fill and works out to about ₹0.23 per km. Riding 30 km a day, that is around ₹178 a month, a fraction of what a petrol scooter costs to run.

Spread over five years and 46,800 km, the RV400 works out to about ₹3.4 per km all-in, of which 7% is electricity and 83% is the purchase price itself. Resale value is not counted; expect roughly 50–60% of ex-showroom after five years for a well-kept example.

On the RV400, treat the mode selector as a range dial: the top mode trades roughly a third of the range for speed, and sustained runs above 60 km/h are where the pack empties fastest.

Regenerative braking helps most in stop-start traffic, so leave it on its strongest setting for the commute; it earns back a few kilometres a day and saves the brake pads.

Because the battery is removable, charge it indoors at room temperature where you can. A pack that sits in the sun or a cold stairwell loses a little range before you set off.
