The Tracker 400 comes in a single variant at ₹2,42,064 ex-showroom Delhi, so there is no trim ladder to climb: every Tracker 400 leaves the showroom with the same equipment.

That makes it priced 67th lowest among the 137 sports bikes we have reviewed. Its closest price rivals are the Speed 400 (₹7,762 less) and the RC 200 (₹10,151 less).

On the road in Delhi the base Tracker 400 comes to ₹2.76 Lakh: ₹2,41,882 ex-showroom, ₹20,851 in Delhi road tax and registration (8.6%), ₹12,977 for first-year insurance. Dealers add handling and accessory packs on top; both are negotiable.

Tracker 400's claimed mileage is 27.7 kmpl, and unusually, owners and our own riding land right on it: expect 27.7–28 kmpl in everyday use. Few bikes get this close to their brochure figure.

Among the 114 sports bikes we have reviewed it ranks 70th for mileage, 6 kmpl below the group average of 33 kmpl.

The 349cc liquid-cooled engine makes 39.45 bhp and 32 Nm through a 6 Speed. With a kerb weight of 183 kg that is 216 bhp per tonne, 68th best power-to-weight of the 135 bikes in this class we have reviewed.

Peak power is high relative to torque, so this engine rewards revs: it feels ordinary below the mid-range and comes alive above it.

Chassis hardware includes USD front forks, a rear monoshock, dual-channel ABS, a slipper clutch and traction control, with a disc, 300 mm, 4 piston caliper up front and disc, 230 mm, 1 piston caliper at the rear.

At 805 mm the seat is average for the class; most riders from 5'5" up will be comfortable at stops.

On safety kit the Tracker 400 has dual-channel abs, front disc brake, rear disc brake, tubeless tyres, traction control and side-stand engine cut-off. Dual-channel ABS is the one item on this list worth paying for if it is variant-dependent.

Against Scrambler 400 X, Scrambler 400 XC or Scrambler, it gets alloy wheels that most rivals skip.

It is offered in 3 colours: Phantom Black, Racing Yellow and Aluminium Silver. Colour availability varies by variant and dealer stock.

Standard warranty is 2 years, unlimited km.

Triumph runs a limited sales and service network in India, at roughly 150 touchpoints. Check the nearest workshop before buying if you live outside a metro; a 40 km ride for every service adds up.

The Tracker 400 launched in 2026, so long-term reliability and resale data are still thin. That is not a mark against it, just a reason to prefer the standard warranty and keep service records.
