The Drift is rated at 60 km (certified IDC range). Treat that as a ceiling: real-world figures are usually 15–25% lower.

Charging at home in Delhi at about ₹7.5/unit, a 0.6 kWh pack costs roughly ₹5 to fill and works out to about ₹0.08 per km. Riding 30 km a day, that is around ₹64 a month, a fraction of what a petrol scooter costs to run.

Spread over five years and 46,800 km, the Drift works out to about ₹1.9 per km all-in, of which 4% is electricity and 80% is the purchase price itself. Resale value is not counted; expect roughly 50–60% of ex-showroom after five years for a well-kept example.

Riding mode decides range on the Drift more than anything else. The fastest mode can cost a third of the pack against Eco, and holding 60 km/h or more drains it quickly because air resistance grows with the square of speed.

A full charge takes about 8 hours from a home socket, so a nightly top-up covers a normal day; charge to 80% for daily use and only fill to 100% before a long ride, which slows battery ageing.
