In short

The Zontes 350R is a currently sold 348cc liquid-cooled naked with 38.2bhp, dual-channel ABS, a colour TFT display and keyless start, priced from ₹2,57,014. It suits riders wanting strong features and performance for the money against pricier rivals like the TVS Apache RR 310, though Zontes' still-developing Indian dealer network is the main trade-off against more established brands.

What works

  • 38.2bhp and 150kmph top speed lead most similarly priced rivals
  • Colour TFT, navigation and keyless start as standard
  • Claimed 32kmpl mileage, competitive for the performance offered
  • Dual-channel ABS and full LED lighting included

What doesn't

  • Zontes' dealer network in India is smaller and newer than established brands
  • 180kg kerb weight is on the heavier side for a 350cc naked
  • Resale value is unproven compared to long-established rivals

Best for: Feature-focused performance buyers, Highway and twisty-road riding, Riders wanting keyless convenience

Price and variants

Ex-showroom Delhi list prices from the manufacturer. On-road for your city is in the panel above.

There is only one 350R to buy, priced at ₹2,57,014 ex-showroom in Delhi. The only decisions left are colour and whether to finance it.

That makes it priced 66th lowest among the 148 sports bikes we have reviewed. Its closest price rivals are the Apache RR 310 (₹5,251 more) and the Scrambler 400 X (₹7,453 more).

On the road in Delhi the base 350R comes to ₹2.92 Lakh: ₹2,57,000 ex-showroom, ₹22,060 in Delhi road tax and registration (8.6%), ₹13,281 for first-year insurance. Dealers add handling and accessory packs on top; both are negotiable.

Mileage

350R's claimed mileage is 32 kmpl, and unusually, owners and our own riding land right on it: expect 30–33 kmpl in everyday use. Few bikes get this close to their brochure figure.

Engine and ride

Power comes from a 348cc single producing 38.2 bhp and 32.8 Nm, paired with a 6 Speed. At 180 kg the power-to-weight figure is 212 bhp per tonne, which ranks 79 of 146 in its class here.

The torque and power figures are well balanced, so it neither needs to be revved hard nor feels lazy when you do.

Chassis hardware includes a rear monoshock and dual-channel ABS, with a disc, 320 mm, 2 piston caliper up front and disc, 265 mm, 1 piston caliper at the rear.

At 795 mm the seat is average for the class; most riders from 5'5" up will be comfortable at stops.

Our review

Riding impressions and the buying advice a spec sheet cannot give.

Verdict

The 350R packs a genuinely strong spec sheet, 38.2bhp, dual-channel ABS, a colour TFT display, navigation and keyless start, into a naked bike priced well below several established 300-350cc rivals. It's a clear attempt to win buyers on value and features rather than brand history.

Riding it every day

The 348cc single delivers strong performance for the segment, with a 150kmph top speed and enough mid-range punch for confident highway overtakes. At 180kg it's not the lightest in its class, which shows in slow traffic and tight parking, but the wide tyres and telescopic front provide stability on typical Indian roads with speed breakers and patchy surfaces. Claimed mileage of 32kmpl, with real-world figures around 30-33kmpl, is respectable for the power on offer. The TFT display and navigation are genuinely useful additions rarely found at this price.

What to know before buying

Zontes is still building out its Indian dealer and service network, so check availability in your city before committing, particularly if you live outside a major metro. As a newer brand, resale value and long-term reliability data are less established than for brands with decades of Indian presence, which is worth weighing against the strong spec sheet.

Who should buy it

This suits a rider who prioritises performance and features per rupee over brand pedigree, and who has confirmed a nearby service centre. Buyers who value a long, proven ownership track record above spec sheet value may prefer an established rival even at a higher price.

Features

  • Dual-channel ABS
  • Front disc brake
  • Rear disc brake
  • Tubeless tyres
  • Alloy wheels
  • Side-stand engine cut-off
  • Hazard lamps
  • Rear monoshock
  • LED headlamp
  • Projector headlamp
  • +10 more

On safety kit the 350R has dual-channel abs, front disc brake, rear disc brake, tubeless tyres, side-stand engine cut-off and hazard lamps. Dual-channel ABS is the one item on this list worth paying for if it is variant-dependent.

Against GK350, 350T or Speed 400, it gets keyless start that most rivals skip.

It is offered in 3 colours: Blue, Silver and Black. Colour availability varies by variant and dealer stock.

Warranty, service and ownership

Standard warranty is 2 years, unlimited km.

Service reach is the weak point: Zontes has about 20 dealer and workshop touchpoints across the country. Confirm there is one within reach before you sign.

On sale since 2022, the 350R is established enough that early production issues have been worked through and used examples give a fair read on resale.

350R: questions people ask

What is the price of the Zontes 350R?
The 350R is priced at ₹2,57,014 ex-showroom Delhi in its single variant, as of September 2026. On-road price adds road tax, registration and insurance.
What is the on-road price of the 350R in Delhi?
About ₹2.92 Lakh for the base variant in Delhi: ₹2,57,000 ex-showroom plus ₹22,060 in Delhi road tax and registration and ₹13,281 for first-year insurance. Figure from dealer quotes, updated monthly; handling and accessory packs can add more.
What is the mileage of the 350R?
Claimed mileage is 32 kmpl. Owners typically see 30–33 kmpl in mixed city and highway riding.
How much does the 350R cost to run per month?
Fuel works out to about ₹3.01 per km in Delhi, so a 30 km daily commute costs roughly ₹2,347 a month before servicing.
What is the EMI for the 350R?
With 10% down, a 36-month loan at 9.5% on the base variant comes to about ₹8,150 a month. A shorter tenure raises the EMI but cuts total interest; see the EMI calculator on the price page.
What is the engine capacity and power of the 350R?
It uses a 348cc engine producing 38.2 bhp and 32.8 Nm, with a 6 speed.
Is the 350R suitable for short riders?
Mostly. Seat height is 795 mm, which suits riders from about 5'5". Shorter riders should sit on one at the showroom.
350R or GK350: which is better?
The GK350 is ₹65,002 more expensive to start and less efficient at 26.7 kmpl against 32 kmpl. Pick the 350R for feature-focused performance buyers, the GK350 for performance-focused naked riders. Our side-by-side comparison covers every spec.
Which bikes are cheaper than the 350R?
Among the 148 sports bikes we have reviewed, the Pulsar 125 (₹93,507), the MT-15 V2 (₹1.68 Lakh), the Roadster (₹2.02 Lakh) start lower.
Is the Zontes 350R reliable enough for daily use given the newer brand?
Zontes is a relatively recent entrant to the Indian market, so it lacks the decades of ownership data that brands like Bajaj or TVS have; the spec sheet is strong, but prospective buyers should weigh that against a shorter track record and factor in dealer proximity before committing to daily use.
Does the 350R need premium fuel to perform properly?
The published spec sheet doesn't specify a fuel requirement, and most bikes in this power range run on regular unleaded petrol; check the owner's manual or ask the dealer directly rather than assuming premium fuel is needed, since it adds cost without necessarily improving performance.
