The C12i is sold in 3 variants, from ₹1,09,990 for the i Ex to ₹1,34,990 for the MAX 3.0, ex-showroom Delhi.

That makes it priced 25th lowest among the 56 electric scooters we have reviewed. Its closest price rivals are the Wave (₹9 more) and the VX2 (₹407 less).

On the road in Delhi the base C12i comes to ₹1.14 Lakh: ₹1,03,490 ex-showroom, ₹1,500 in Delhi road tax and registration (1.4%), ₹6,000 for first-year insurance and ₹2,999 in extended warranty. Dealers add handling and accessory packs on top; both are negotiable.

The C12i is rated at 85 km (certified IDC range). Treat that as a ceiling: real-world figures are usually 15–25% lower.

Among the 56 electric scooters we have reviewed it ranks 51th for range, 52 km below the group average of 137 km.

The C12i's 2.5 kW motor is the 37rd most powerful among the 48 electric scooters here and takes it to a top speed of 60 km/h, which limits it to city use.

A full charge from a home socket takes about 4.45 hours, and it supports fast charging for a quicker top-up on the road. The battery is removable, so it can be charged indoors if you cannot park near a plug.

Chassis hardware includes a combi-brake system, with a drum, 130 mm up front and drum, 130 mm at the rear.

Seat height is a low 765 mm, so riders around 5'2" and above can plant both feet at a stop.

On safety kit the C12i has combi-brake (cbs), tubeless tyres, side-stand engine cut-off and hazard lamps. There is no ABS, which is legal at this engine size but worth knowing before a wet-weather ride.

Against DX, Wave or N-First, it gets side-stand engine cut-off, hazard lamps, usb charging port and fast charging that most rivals skip.

What it lacks: front disc brake, alloy wheels, bluetooth connectivity and reverse mode, which rivals at this price offer. The safety items in that list matter more than the console.

It is offered in 7 colours: Brooklyn Black, Foliage Green, Pearl White, Matte BGauss Blue, Yellow Techno, Peach and White and Teal and White. Colour availability varies by variant and dealer stock.

Standard warranty is 3 years, unlimited km. The battery is covered separately for 3 years or 30,000 km; read the degradation clause, since most policies only replace a pack that drops below 70% capacity.

BGauss runs a limited sales and service network in India, at roughly 150 touchpoints. Check the nearest workshop before buying if you live outside a metro; a 40 km ride for every service adds up.

The C12i launched in 2023, so long-term reliability and resale data are still thin. That is not a mark against it, just a reason to prefer the standard warranty and keep service records.
