Riding it every day
The 163.2cc engine's 14.79bhp is enough for confident overtaking and a claimed 107kmph top speed, with real-world mileage around 44-49kmpl holding up well for daily commuting. The 7-step adjustable monoshock is a genuine highlight, letting you tune the rear end for solo or two-up riding over India's uneven road surfaces. At 139.5kg it feels planted without being cumbersome in traffic.
What to know before buying
The rear drum brake is the clearest sign of where Hero cut costs versus the 160R 4V, and single-channel ABS means only the front wheel is covered under hard braking.
