Verdict
The Glamour is Hero's case for spending a bit more on a 125cc commuter: a 10.39 bhp engine, a proper 5-speed gearbox and full LED lighting, all wrapped in a familiar 18-inch-wheel commuter shape. At ₹85,002 to start, it isn't the cheapest bike in its bracket, but it doesn't feel like it is missing much either.
Riding it every day
The engine pulls cleanly through traffic and has enough top-end for confident highway overtakes at 95 kmph claimed top speed. The 18-inch wheels shrug off potholes and speed breakers better than the smaller wheels on some newer 125cc rivals, and the adjustable rear suspension helps when carrying a pillion. Claimed mileage of 65 kmpl typically translates to 51-57 kmpl in mixed city and highway use, which is respectable rather than class-leading. Idle start-stop helps a little at long signals, and the LED lighting set is genuinely bright after dark.
What to know before buying
The base variant uses a drum brake at both ends; the disc-equipped variant costs a bit more and is worth considering given how often the bike will be used two-up. At 121.3 kg it is not the lightest 125cc commuter around, which shows up slightly in low-speed manoeuvring.

The Glamour suits riders who want a proper mid-capacity commuter with modern lighting and don't mind paying a little more than the segment average.
