It's a meaningfully more modern package than the discontinued Springfield, at a noticeably lower price.
Riding it every day
At 335kg it's still a handful at parking speed, but the 162Nm of torque makes highway overtaking and two-up cruising genuinely relaxed once moving. Ride modes let a rider soften throttle response for wet monsoon roads or sharpen it on open highway stretches, and the adjustable preload rear shocks help absorb speed breakers with a pillion aboard better than a fixed setup would. The claimed 14kmpl means fuel stops come around often for a bike this size.
What to know before buying
Check that the colour TFT, navigation and bluetooth are all functioning correctly on a test ride, since electronics issues can be slower to diagnose given Indian's limited dealer spread in India. Budget for higher running costs than a typical 650cc cruiser, both in fuel and in tyre wear given the weight.
Who should buy it
