Joy e-bike Mihos

There is only one Mihos to buy, priced at ₹1,12,997 ex-showroom in Delhi. The only decisions left are colour and whether to finance it.

That makes it priced 28th lowest among the 56 electric scooters we have reviewed. Its closest price rivals are the DX (₹1,498 less) and the N-First (₹2,002 more).

On the road in Delhi the base Mihos comes to ₹1.15 Lakh: ₹1,08,000 ex-showroom, ₹1,500 in Delhi road tax and registration (1.4%), ₹5,493 for first-year insurance. Dealers add handling and accessory packs on top; both are negotiable.

The Mihos is rated at 130 km (certified IDC range). Treat that as a ceiling: real-world figures are usually 15–25% lower.

Among the 56 electric scooters we have reviewed it ranks 24th for range, 7 km below the group average of 137 km.

A full charge from a home socket takes about 5 hours, and it supports fast charging for a quicker top-up on the road. The battery is removable, so it can be charged indoors if you cannot park near a plug.

Chassis hardware includes a combi-brake system, with a disc, 2 piston caliper up front and disc, 1 piston caliper at the rear.

On safety kit the Mihos has combi-brake (cbs), front disc brake, rear disc brake, tubeless tyres and hazard lamps. There is no ABS, which is legal at this engine size but worth knowing before a wet-weather ride.

Against DX, Wave or N-First, it gets rear disc brake, hazard lamps, colour tft console and turn-by-turn navigation that most rivals skip.

It is offered in 3 colours: Sparkle Black, Satin Blue and Matt Gold. Colour availability varies by variant and dealer stock.

Standard warranty is 1 year, unlimited km. The battery is covered separately for 3 years or 60,000 km; read the degradation clause, since most policies only replace a pack that drops below 70% capacity.

Service reach is the weak point: Joy e-bike has about 500 dealer and workshop touchpoints across the country. Confirm there is one within reach before you sign.

The Mihos launched in 2023, so long-term reliability and resale data are still thin. That is not a mark against it, just a reason to prefer the standard warranty and keep service records.
