It claims 75 km of range at a 45 kmph top speed, and against nearby-priced rivals like the Ather Konarc and Bajaj Chetak C2501, its value score comes out weakest in this batch.
Riding it every day
At 107 kg it is the lightest of Odysse's electric scooters here, which should make it easy to filter through traffic and park in tight spots. Small 90/90-12 tyres front and rear keep unsprung weight down but may transmit more of India's speed breakers and potholes than larger wheels would. The front disc brake is standard, though the rear drum brake is the more common budget compromise.
What to know before buying
Buyers comparing scooters around the ₹1 lakh mark will find the Hawk, from the same brand, offers more torque and range for a similar outlay, which makes the Racer harder to justify on numbers alone. Its main case is styling and colour choice, both genuinely stronger here. As with other Odysse models, expect the vehicle warranty to run a year against a three-year battery cover, so ask the dealer what that first year includes.
