Pure EV EPluto 7G range and running cost
Certified range 101 km. What it costs per km, per month and over five years.
Certified vs real range
The EPluto 7G is rated at 101 km (certified IDC range). Treat that as a ceiling: real-world figures are usually 15–25% lower.
Among the 88 electric scooters we have reviewed it ranks 52th for range, 21 km below the group average of 122 km.
Charging at home in Delhi at about ₹7.5/unit, a 1.8 kWh pack costs roughly ₹15 to fill and works out to about ₹0.15 per km. Riding 30 km a day, that is around ₹115 a month, a fraction of what a petrol scooter costs to run.
Why the gap exists: electric scooter range explained.

Spread over five years and 46,800 km, the EPluto 7G works out to about ₹1.9 per km all-in, of which 8% is electricity and 77% is the purchase price itself. Resale value is not counted; expect roughly 50–60% of ex-showroom after five years for a well-kept example.
Getting the most range
On the EPluto 7G, treat the mode selector as a range dial: the top mode trades roughly a third of the range for speed, and sustained runs above 60 km/h are where the pack empties fastest.
Regenerative braking helps most in stop-start traffic, so leave it on its strongest setting for the commute; it earns back a few kilometres a day and saves the brake pads.
Because the battery is removable, charge it indoors at room temperature where you can. A pack that sits in the sun or a cold stairwell loses a little range before you set off.
Cold mornings, a heavy pillion and under-inflated tyres each trim range. Budget for roughly 70% of the certified figure until you have measured your own.
