There is only one Hypevolt-R to buy, priced at ₹1,99,000 ex-showroom in Delhi. The only decisions left are colour and whether to finance it.

That makes it priced 49th lowest among the 56 electric scooters we have reviewed. Its closest price rivals are the Roadster Pro (₹999 more) and the 450 Apex (₹2,810 less).

On the road in Delhi the base Hypevolt-R comes to ₹2.07 Lakh: ₹1,94,000 ex-showroom, ₹1,500 in Delhi road tax and registration (0.8%), ₹11,220 for first-year insurance. Dealers add handling and accessory packs on top; both are negotiable.

The Hypevolt-R is rated at 180 km (certified IDC range). Treat that as a ceiling: real-world figures are usually 15–25% lower.

The Hypevolt-R's 12 kW motor is the 6rd most powerful among the 48 electric scooters here and takes it to a top speed of 115 km/h, fast enough for a ring road or short highway stretch.

A full charge from a home socket takes about 3 hours, and it supports fast charging for a quicker top-up on the road. The battery is removable, so it can be charged indoors if you cannot park near a plug.

Chassis hardware includes dual-channel ABS, with a disc up front and disc at the rear.

Seat height is a low 770 mm, so riders around 5'2" and above can plant both feet at a stop.

On safety kit the Hypevolt-R has dual-channel abs, front disc brake, rear disc brake, tubeless tyres and side-stand engine cut-off. Dual-channel ABS is the one item on this list worth paying for if it is variant-dependent.

Against 450 Apex, E Access or One, it gets dual-channel abs, projector headlamp, removable battery and hill hold that most rivals skip.

What it lacks: combi-brake (cbs), hazard lamps, rear monoshock and led tail lamp, which rivals at this price offer. The safety items in that list matter more than the console.

The Hypevolt-R launched in 2026, so long-term reliability and resale data are still thin. That is not a mark against it, just a reason to prefer the standard warranty and keep service records.
