Compared with Pure EV's older ETrance, it adds a front disc brake, E-ABS and hill hold, features that matter more day to day than the spec sheet suggests.
Riding it every day
At 86kg kerb weight, the Neo should feel stable without being heavy to manage in traffic, and the 47kmph top speed is enough to keep pace with typical city flow. Hill hold is a small but real convenience in hilly cities, holding the scooter in place at a signal rather than needing the rider to balance on the brake. The rear drum brake, even on the Plus variant, means stopping power still trails scooters with a disc on both wheels.
What to know before buying
The official specs do not spell out every difference between the SX, Standard and Plus trims beyond price, so ask the dealer directly what you gain by paying more. The 1-year standard warranty is short next to the 3-year, 40,000km battery cover, so factor in service costs after the first year, and check charging infrastructure or a home point before committing to daily use.

On safety kit the ETrance Neo has single-channel abs, front disc brake, tubeless tyres, side-stand engine cut-off and hazard lamps. ABS acts on the front wheel only; the rear can still lock under a hard stamp.
Against EPluto 7G, LXS 2.0 or Jeet X, it gets single-channel abs, led tail lamp, digital console and hill hold that most rivals skip.
